"I cannot rave enough about Eithne and the ceremony she put together for us. My wife and I had planned a destination wedding to Ireland for our dream ceremony. At our planner's suggestion we decided on Eithne to officiate our wedding. Eithne was warm, inviting, comfortable and completely at ease with our suggestions. She put together an absolutely beautiful hand-fasting ceremony, as well as incorporating many of our personal touches.
Eithne did an excellent job getting to know my wife and I, given all communication before the ceremony was done via email. She made sure to include so many personal details of our families, our history and our future.
Eithne has such a warm light and positive presence that she bring with her, and it shows when she is in her element. When you meet her, you feel as though you are catching up with an old friend. We cannot thank her enough for the care, time and patience she put in to making our wedding ceremony beautiful. Thank you a million times Eithne!

Eithne made us feel so at ease. From the very start it didn't matter that we were a gay, as she said we were a special couple just renewing our vows and our love for one another and she treated us like royalty. She wrote the most amazing script and had some wonderful ideas on how to include our two children and also to remember my deceased parents in a very loving and tender way without I breaking down in tears. That I am forever grateful. She also included some funny one-liners that took us totally unawares and had us laughing and she very thoughtfully remembered that we like to relax with a glass of beer and had brought along two cans of Irish craft beer to give us a surprise toast at the very end, the perfect finish. I must say we will be forever grateful to her for making our ceremony so special and we will always remember it with such joy. Lucy and Cathy

Oh my goodness, I can't thank Eithne enough for the wonderful ceremony she wrote for Moe and I. It meant so much to us. And most of all, I can't thank her enough for sticking it out in the pouring rain with us. She must think we're crazy! But she truly helped make the day a dream come true for us. And she did it all with a smile on her face the whole time, despite the challenging weather. I'm sorry we didn't have the chance to chat more - it was such a pleasure meeting her. Thanks to her a million times over" - Kerry.

"Just want to re-iterate how much we loved what she did for our ceremony, it was the talk of guests for the entire weekend!! They couldn't get over how lovely it was compared to say a traditional church ceremony, she truly did a wonderful job" - Kelly

ABOUT EITHNE
The ceremonies that persist - birthdays, weddings, funerals - focus on ourselves, marking rites of personal transition - Robin Wall Kimmerer
I am an independent civil celebrant. I reside in Castlegregory, in West Kerry and I decided to become a celebrant after attending my son's wedding ceremony. I am warm, loving and relaxed, with a great sense of humour and I am so excited to meet couples and feel privileged to share in planning your wedding or helping you and your family in planning a naming ceremony for the new arrival. I also have great compassion in supporting families in their time of mourning the passing of their loved ones.
My background is in the civil service, where I spent twenty-five years before life changing experiences took me off in a different direction. I have now spent the past fifteen years in alternative therapies where I practice acupuncture, homeopathy and other therapies on a part time basis. I also have the added skills to help calm the nerves on the big day and the experience to ease the shock of trauma and grief as you come to terms with loss and prepare to say goodbye to your loved one in your own special way.
I am very creative and artistic and love writing ceremonies.
