I was marrying a couple at a beautiful castle a few years ago and they were worried guests would get bored while they went off for photos. They wanted some garden games to entertain their guests.
So you can guess what happened! I organised some garden games after the ceremony and everyone had such fun playing them it's now an offer I make to all couples.

James was an amazing celebrant. He made great, informed suggestions and listened to what we wanted. He achieved the perfect tone for our day... perfectly pitched romance and humour. Highly recommended.

James met with us several times before the ceremony to listen to our ideas and wishes, and to share his expertise and advice. He built the ceremony around what we discussed, which made it very personal, upbeat and engaging for our guests.
Throughout the day, James put us and those involved in the ceremony at ease, and led the ceremony with his unique presence and style. He was so good, that some of our guests subsequently booked him for their wedding.
It was a very special day.
Thank you Paul!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for conducting our wedding ceremony.
It was the perfect balance of funny, personal and sweet.
Everyone has commented on how great you were and everyone loved how you added the quiz element.
Thank you also for your help and guidance in preparing for the ceremony and allowing us to have the perfect start to our wedding day, we couldn't have asked for more.

It was an absolute pleasure - all the best for married life!

My husband and I were nervous about meeting James as we had been happy with our original humanist, who unfortunately became ill and could no longer conduct our ceremony. However, James quickly put our minds to rest and made us feel comfortable at the very first meeting.
James took on board the ideas we had but also gave us lots of helpful suggestions which led to the final material for our wedding. Throughout the full process, we felt that James understood who we were as a couple and this translated into a very personal and relaxed ceremony.
Despite some major stress in the lead up to our wedding, James kept in contact, offering support and ideas on how we could overcome the problems we had encountered.
On the “big day” itself, James led us through a humorous, personal and memorable ceremony which we were delighted with. He felt like one of our friends and this came across to all of our family and friends in attendance.
All of our guests commented on how great they had found ceremony and particularly how James presented. I would say that our ceremony was one of the highlights of the day for these reasons and we could not have asked for more.

Thank you for such a lovely review.
I am so glad your day went so well.
The role of a celebrant is tremendously rewarding, working out what it is that people want to tell their story so their guests really feel involved. A great humanist ceremony tells a great story about how the couple work together. I want to help you tell your story.
